About Ahorradito

Ahorradito is a free web application for keeping track of where your money goes — on your own, or together with the people you share your life with.

Why it exists

Most budgeting tools want to connect to your bank. That means handing over credentials, waiting on flaky integrations, and accepting that a third party sits between you and your accounts. Plenty of people would rather not.

Ahorradito takes the other approach. You enter what you spend and earn. In return, nothing sits between you and your bank, there is no integration to break, and the data is exactly what you put in — no more, no less.

Who it is for

People who want a clear picture of their month without a spreadsheet, and households who want a shared one. A financial space can stay private, or you can invite someone into it with a role that decides what they can do. Couples splitting shared costs, flatmates running a common pot, families keeping an eye on a budget — the same tool covers all three.

What it does

You organize money into financial spaces. Inside a space you record income and expenses, sort them into categories, set budgets, and watch a dashboard that shows the month as it actually went. It works in English and Spanish.

Principles

Your data is yours. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or mine it for profiles. The privacy policy says so in detail, and the security page explains how it is protected.

Honest numbers. The application shows what you entered. It does not estimate, round in its own favour, or hide an unpleasant total behind a friendlier one.

No dark patterns. No countdown timers, no manufactured urgency, no subscription you have to phone somebody to cancel.
